# Getting Started

> A simple mental model for how Social Glass works.

# Getting Started

The easiest way to understand Social Glass is:

1. People submit or connect social content.
2. Social Glass organizes that activity into a structured feed.
3. Your team reviews dashboards, reports, and insight outputs built from that feed.

## Core objects

### Submissions

Submissions are the raw inbound content or references that start the workflow.

### Posts and creators

Posts are the pieces of content being analyzed. Creators are the people or accounts behind them.

### Insights

Insights are the higher-level patterns, themes, or beliefs derived from the underlying content.

### Reports and dashboards

Reports and dashboards are the main surfaces where teams review outputs, monitor themes, and share findings.

## Use Social Glass in your agent

The [Social Glass plugin](/reference/plugins) is the fastest way to connect Codex or Claude Code to your organization's live insights and reports.
